Yes, surprise! The founders of Hollywood, the founders of the Academy of Motion Pictures Art and Sciences and the Movie Awards “Oscar” brothers Schenck – Joseph (1878 - 1961) and Nicholas (1881 - 1969) were born in this house. Maria Luarsabovna Chelishcheva used to live in this house from 1912 to 1970. Musician, teacher and one of the founders of the music school of P.I. Tchaikovsky, who made a huge contribution to musical culture of the town.
