Bolivian embassies throughout the world celebrate the 180th anniversary of obtaining the independence by the country, at the cradle of which stood Simon Bolivar and Antonio Jose Sucre. They, as is known, were the first presidents of Bolivia.

The country meets its jubilee in the conditions of instability, complicated inner political and social changes, confrontation of neo-liberalism advocates and basically new course – sovereign, directed to integration with fraternal peoples of the South America.

Convention of Constitutional assembly, nationalisation of gas-petroleum industry, involvement of Bolivian indigene population to active political and economic life – these are the program aims of those who oppose capitalist way of development, which finally failed Bolivia in aspiration for flourishing, prosperity, true progress and democracy for all.

This December general elections, including the presidential elections, should take place in Bolivia. Future of the country, breakthrough into the 21st century will greatly depend upon these elections.

The jubilee date of the Bolivian republic was celebrated in Caracas with special progress. Bolivian embassy entertained their guests by the concert of the excellent folklore company «Savia Andina», which is often called the visiting card of Bolivia. This company toured with concerts in many countries of the world, including Russia.
