«Laura» Cross-country Ski & Biathlon Center is one of the most beautiful places of Sochi Games. World Cup is being held there these days.

César Augusto Baena, skier from Venezuela after finishing his qualifying race took out the flag of Venezuela in the finish area and then unrolled a banner reading: “Prezident Chavez, we are with you!”

- I dedicate my race to our beloved president Chaves! - said the sportsman to volunteers and journalists gathered around him.

It is not for the first time that César dedicates his deed to president Hugo Chavez. Last July on the day of National holiday of Venezuela the sportsman planted the flag of his country atop of Homenkollen mountain in Norway after he has covered the way from Stockholm to Oslo on roller skies. From May 11 to June 5 he covered 2,246.21km and broke a record that was noted down in the Guinness Book of Records. He dedicated that record to president Hugo Chavez.
