Holy Virgin Suyapa is a heavenly patroness of Honduras. Two temples in her honor are built in the suburbs of Tegucigalpa; a wide avenue leads to them from the center of the city. Solemn ceremonies, when a holy relic — image of Holy Virgin Suyapa — is brought from the Smaller temple, are held in the Bigger temple. Tiny figure, of about 18-20 cm in height, feels uncomfortable in a big temple. They say it used to demonstrate more than once that it feels much better in the old, smaller temple.
