Valle de Angeles is a town and its suburbs where shops of handicrafts are situated. The town is oriented for attraction and servicing of tourists from all over the world, but on weekdays it seems sad. However, specially on such days it is better to get acquainted with quiet way of life of its inhabitants.

In the artisan workshops of Valle de Angeles they make the most popular souvenirs of Honduras: wooden pictures, carved tables, caskets and chests — are the most wanted goods. Hand-made bags are also in demand.

«Pupusa», an Indian corn flat cake with white cheese is a popular (nourishing and economical) food.

The menu of the restaurant «Tipico Momotombo» remained a mystery for us, but, judging by the advertised «blue volcanoes», momotombo will be tougher than pupusa (or pupusas).
