“Pisco sour” - is a cocktail of grape vodka, lemon juice and some other ingredients. It is consumed in mass quantities in Peru and Chile. These both countries compete for the authorship for the name of vodka – pisco and company name of the cocktail!

The Peruvian government, insisting on priority in making pisco and cocktail – in the Peruvian province Pisco since the 16th century, - since the last year introduced a new festival: every first Saturday of February to celebrate the Festival of “pisco sour”! So last Saturday the Peruvians enjoyed “tasting” their favourite cocktail. Massive outings with contests, songs, dances and tasting of the drink took place throughout the country and especially in the place, where pisco is produced. I wonder, what will be the reply of Chileans?
