Yuyuan Garden (豫园 - Yùyuán) and Old City

October-November 2008
Yu Yuan garden (garden of Joy) is situated in the Old City of Shanghai. The garden is thought to be laid out by Pan Yunduan to please his father Pan En, who was a high ranking official in the Ming dynasty. Yunduan spent almost 20 years to create the garden. I'm sure that his father liked the garden very much. I definitely liked that paradise and rather calm corner in the whirling city.
